The Seine River

As far as natural landmarks go, you should most definitely take a journey to the Seine River. This great river runs through Paris and provides some of the most stunning views you can see – especially if you watch the sunset over the river. You can do this from one of the many beautiful bridges or get a boat to go down the river. You can even opt for a dinner cruise and experience some of Paris’s world famous fine dining at the same time you are seeing this lovely scenery.


Catacombs

If you are up for a little history and a little fear in the same trip, you should most definitely visit the Catacombs. A tour of this historic location will lead you through some of the city’s darker days with a great story to go along with it. You can go down into this location where bodies were buried in masses during historical times in Paris and see rows of human skulls. It doesn’t take long to journey through this site, but make sure to go during the day. You can’t get night tours here.


Cafes

The last thing is something to experience as well as see. The only way you can really get a taste of traditional French food, which you cannot miss, is to visit the cafes that line the streets of Paris. You can enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine with any great meal. Some of these places are viewed as the most delicious eateries in the world. You don’t want to miss out on the part of culture for which Paris is incredibly famous.
